Eight pillars
How we protect your records
Security isn’t a single feature — it’s a set of practices woven through every part of the product.
Private records
Every record is protected with row-level security at the database level. Only you and the family members you invite can read or modify your records.
Account security
Your account is protected by secure authentication. Use a strong, unique password and enable additional security measures where available.
Family permissions
Each family member has an explicit role — Owner, Adult Member, Caregiver, or Viewer. Access is granted intentionally, never by default.
Document protection
Uploaded documents live in private storage and are served via signed URLs, so only authorized family members can access them.
AI permissions
AI features help organize and summarize — they never diagnose. AI-suggested information goes through your review before it’s saved. You can control which AI features are enabled.
Data export
Export your full Health Book as a PDF, download your data as CSV or JSON, and download all documents as a ZIP — anytime, on any plan.
Deletion
Delete individual records or your entire account whenever you choose. Your data is yours to remove.
Auditability
Actions within your family space are logged so you can see what changed and when. Transparency is part of trust.
Family permissions

When you invite a family member, you choose their role. No one gains access to your records by default.
Owner
Full control of the family space and all Health Books.
Adult Member
Manages their own Health Book and can contribute to others.
Caregiver
Manages Health Books they’ve been granted access to.
Viewer
Can view records but cannot edit or add.

What AI does
Suggests document categories, helps organize records, and generates readable summaries of information you’ve entered.
What AI doesn’t do
It does not diagnose, predict conditions, or make medical decisions. AI-suggested information always goes through your review before being saved.
